I taught a class today on two of my favorite artforms - calligraphy and Zentangle. I had seven energetic students. I started by teaching some principles of good letter forms. Then I used a process to help students develop their own letter. This letter was then used to add decorative patterns and little touches. Watch for further posts about this class.

Steampunk Exchange

Where does the time go?

Obviously I'm not in control of it. 

If I was, I would have more time to play with Zentangle pieces.

Always fun to get introduced to something completely new to me. 

Obviously, others have known about 'Steampunk' artwork and creations.

 But it is new to me. 

Here is my first attempt to create something in the steampunk style.
